SWEETMAN CLOTHING
I first wanted to design my own clothing because I couldn't find merchandise from my favourite artists. With a very basic knowledge of Photoshop, I created a range of bootleg designs that never made it to the printers.
The idea never left my mind. Inspired by the defiant and independent tone of Kanye West's YEEZUS, and a much better understanding of streetwear and design - SWEETMAN CLOTHING came to be.
The Revolution tee is not actually inspired by Gil Scott Heron. I was pleasantly surprised when one of my first customers referenced the very famous quote by the American poet.
