Colossal Con 2018 was a very fun event and a first time for me.  Great for relaxing, meeting up with friends and making new friends.  Pretty good for swimsuit photography and the cosplay version of summer pool wear is very creative.  The coveted fields in the back of the Kalahari Resort does make for some great sunset photos, especially if you bring some light stands.  The main convention has plenty to do and well air conditioned if you need to get out of the heat.  Plenty of panels and merchandise as well!
