MY NEIGHBOURS
A Glimpse of the Neighbourhood: Each of the men featured in these portraits are from a long list of anonymous neighbours I occasionally meet while wandering streets of the Plateau. They are acquaintances. All are men over the age of 50. They may not know each other, but they all live and work in the in close proximity.
I chose these persons because I felt attracted to their characters as strong and very interesting photographic subjects. What I pursued with their portraits was to illustrate their personalities being photographed into their own and real places, showing at the same time the immense richness and variety that exist into the same geographical territory, as the neighbourhood where I live is.
