These were from the first week of my painting project. The 1st photo is the 4 thumb nail idea and the second photo is the finalized sketch of what I wanted to do. 

The master artist that I chose was J.M.W Turner. I chose him because he is known for his seascapes and other landscapes. I chose him because I liked the way he blended his colors and his color palette he used. My current artist is Cecily Brown. I like the way she used different textures in her paintings. You can see her strokes in the painting.
