As design students we were challenged with conceptualising and designing a book for print that would utilize display and body copy. Our goal was to consider the form and function of text, breaking out of ordinary patterns by examining radical approaches in image making, typography, and typesetting.
This book explores the idea of excess, is it good? Is it Bad? How do we as people or designers interact with the idea of excess and how can it be represented through type and visual design?
