These are my rough drafts for my second project. I was inspired to paint this due to the artist Terry Gilecki. I happened to stumble upon his artwork while finding ideas to paint. He solely painted Koi fish and I really like the way he put a lot of detail in his background and made the fish really simple. Whilst I did the opposite. For my current artist, I was really in to Claude Monet’s paintings, mainly of the ponds and lily pads because how many different colors he used and the source of light.
