Alien Abduction … still not as scary as clowns.

The idea for this actually came from an agency project I worked on over twenty years ago. Our client was sponsoring a summer camp for kids, and I was developing the look of the program.

As is usually the case, “funny” thumbnails would work their way into my sketchbook. They were never meant to be treated as serious ideas. Sometimes they would go in when I would get stuck, or when I needed a mental break.

I wanted something somewhat spooky, so it took on a Scooby-Doo-ish vibe. The idea still makes me chuckle.
