For this project the point was to find objects that were everyday and then look at them in a different way so that they could be viewed as letters in a font. After a lot of internal debate I eventually concluded that using banana peels for my font would give me the results that I wanted the most.

Aside from the silliness involved with creating this font I was actually pleasantly surprised with how well the banana peels worked in being a mixture of interesting and mildly disgusting. The negative space was a lot of fun to work with and was a huge benefit to me when creating this project.

With all the fun that I had with this project I actually wouldn't mind doing it again or even doing something a bit more serious. I love the feel of the letters and the interaction with the background. It's a lot of fun to be able to make a really intriguing artwork with just a couple of things that you have on hand.
