Algi_The Green Million City on Mars

Algi, the first city on Mars, is a utopian collaborative society protected by a biological membrane, containing algae and water.  Algi seeks to be a no-waste city by implementing high citizen participation and closed loop cycles to generate our needs. Our society is comprised of happy and responsible communities who coexist with each other and nature. Our goal on Algi is to do all of the above, but as well help the Earth. Our city begins by taking Earth's plastic and bringing it to Mars to be used a 3D filament, alongside drone swarms. Algi can serve as a test ground for innovation whose city model and advances can be transmitted back to Earth, creating a symbiotic interplanetary relationship.

*Algi won the 1st place prize Mars Home Planet 3D Modeling Challenge as well as the 1st place in the League of Universities pool.
