Agent 47: Birth of the Hitman - (Re)Color

This summer I've been working with Dynamite Entertainment/Dynamite Comics recoloring the comics from Hitman's franchise for the graphic novel.

It has been a hard work because the franchise has a particular color style with monochromatic and muted tones, and I was used to use a very open palette. Also, I had to do it in the shortest time possible and combined with a five hours/day work in Loopy Teller Studio as a color artist too.

I've to say that I'm very very happy with the final art. I learned a lot about how to color comics and discovered new and strong palettes that I will use in future projects :)

Agent 47: Birth oh Hitman Issue #1 Page 22 and Issue #6 Page 01.

Yeah, it's pretty weird to mix together pages of the first and the last issue... but these are the only ones which I couldn't match with another ones I liked as these ;)

For most of the time these pages were my favourite, I was very sastified with the palette, the heat vision pannel, the use of red to emphasize a violent shot and how the pannel stands out in the page, the silhouette of agent 47 in the last pannel and the contrast with the adjacent pannel...

In page 05 I wanted to make a weird, artificial and sick atmosphere to show how Agent 47 wakes up misplaced.

I struggled a lot with the last pannel from page 3, because I wanted Diana to stand out between all the people, and it was so hard to not get distracted with the punk boy or the tower clock... but I think I achieved it at last, and I'm very proud of this pannel :)
