The Corner Shop 杂货店 ( POP UP STORE )
This project was given to me as an individual project while I was Interning at Paper Carpenter and I was required to come up with designs and ideas by creating mood boards and researching how the brand styling of The Corner Shop is, to create a 3-part modular pop-up booth in Robinsons, Heeren.
The whole booth was built from cardboard and Paper Connect system from structure, to logo placement, cardboard drawers and hangers.
Initially the brief wasn’t clear as to what the booth is meant to display, hence I had to make a couple of changes to fit the client’s request. I came up with sketches, then 3D cad, render and compiling into a visual deck to be approved. The difficulties met when carrying out this project was the cardboard cad part as I wasn’t too familiar with the software at that point of time and couldn’t figure out how it will work. After much trial and errors, I managed to make it work and it made it to Robinsons, Heeren!
