Alternating Figure Ground

Part one of this project was to create three separate solutions of alternating figure ground with one tool. The tool I chose was a pair of baby scissors.

The three solutions I came up with are shown below.

Part 2 of the project was to take one of our solutions and make it into three different patterns while still maintaining alternation. I chose my first variation to carry on to the next project and came up with the three solutions below by cropping, rotating, and reflecting the variation in different ways.
