All typefaces used are accurate to the period being emulated. My goal with this project was to evoke the spirit of the late 70s/early 80s without using any cliches or stereotypes about the period. I thoroughly researched and studied print processes, advertising trends, and type foundries from the period, as well as studying the wear and tear of physical books to better emulate the effect on the cover. I ultimately had to pare down the design concept due to time restraints, but I'm pleased with the effect I was able to achieve.
