I was contacted by a publishing house with a starter of an idea - to create a book filled with dot-2-dots
based on contemporary sneaker culture. It's not often you get the chance to combine both your passion
for sneakers and creativity into one project – so this was a dream!

With the web being filled with inspiration sites leading people to the latest and greatest (sometimes weird)
sneakers, I wanted the concept to be based around the core idea of joining them all together.
This is where Joining the dots of sneaker culture was born.

The project consisted of 32 pages and 13 sneakers with the dot-2-dots ranging in difficulty.

Process –
After establishing an imposition plan for the book outlining all the content - the next stage was to create
a proof of concept which would define the size of the dots, numbers and complexity of each sneaker.
PITFALL
One of the first things I totally forgot about was the spine /-: this lead me to having to shift and dots enough to
stop them being gobbled up into the bounding of the spine.
