the backpack is a container for his energy. when he keeps it inside him, it weighs him down. it's a physical manifestation of the difficulty of carrying bad poisonous energy. the best way to wear it is to crawl. 

the rules and guidelines written are: respect the object. do not steal it. once you decide to put on the backpack, you must experience it.  never take all the energy. 

the red and blue lace represents something alive inside. two forces of anger and the calm of after anger. 

The energy backpack was an interactive/performance art piece for a few hours in Columbus Circle. Participants wore the backpack while listening to the accompanying audio.
