Recording of the performance at Jičín's Malá Inventura Physical Theatre festival in which i collaborated with two students from Brno's JAMU. Together we developed a multimedia performance that could also be explored as a sound installation by the festival goers. The performance was inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's "The Little Mermaid" tale.
The sound was triggered by contact microphones attached to the branches of the tree. Those same microphones were also used to amplify the sound of the tree itself. During the performance I had the control of the sounds that were triggered and also the mix between the different sounds.
