Book cover illustration
In my third year of university, in 2017, I attended a publication design course. One of the requirements of this course was to choose a novel and design a book cover for it and sort out the internal formatting/layout of the first couple of pages. We were also instructed to pick any publishing house's logo to apply to our design (it didn't have to actually be affiliated with the publication, it was just meant to serve as an additional element for the layout of the book cover - a kind of stand-in).
My first and obvious choice was Harper Lee's timeless novel To Kill a Mockingbird, as I've read and re-read it more times than I care to admit. I love this novel to bits, and I'm very pleased with the book cover I produced, given the fact that this was my first attempt at publication design.
