Karakurenai" which is translated as "Foreign Crimson". I thought the juxtaposition was a little humorous, but I doubt many people would know better. Creating the display page for the finalized pictographs was simple. I kept a blank white background to maintain the appearance of negative space in my pieces and used a calligraphic font that reminded me of old Japanese handwriting.
