This week I finished my cardinal painting. The middle two pictures on this post are my reference photos for the bird. I struggled with smudging the paint before it was dry and so i had to make the bird a bit fatter than than i had originally anticipated. But overall I am truly pleased with how it came out. It will be a christmas gift for my mother.
