El proyecto plantea una ruta que descubre un objeto a ser disuelto en sus componentes más elementales, es decir la luz. Primero una ruina que delimita el cuerpo extinto de la iglesia, convirtiendo las huellas del edificio en cuerpos translúcidos que permiten el ingreso abundante de la luz al interior del recinto cavernoso. Como segundo paso se atraviesa una oquedad en la tierra que remite a un Hades en espiral decreciente. Subsecuentemente se transita una serie de arcadas que estructuran el perímetro en relativa penumbra antes de revelar la sublimación del ideal gótico: El cuerpo/forma del edificio se abstrae y disuelve en una estructura transparente, transfigurada por la luz, rompiendo así los límites materiales del objeto arquitectónico al que recuerda/conmemora.

The project proposes a route that discovers an object to be dissolved in its most elementary components, that is, light. First, a ruin that delimits the extinct body of the church, turning the traces of the building into translucent bodies that allow the abundant entry of light into the cavernous enclosure. The second step is a gap in the earth that reminds of a descending spiral Hades. Subsequently, a series of arcades that structure the perimeter in relative gloom is passed before revealing the sublimation of the Gothic ideal: The body / shape of the building is abstracted and dissolved in a transparent structure, transfigured by light, thus breaking the material limits of the architectural object which it commemorates.
