The goal of this character design project was to take a plant or animal and reduce its form, color, and mood into a character with a randomly assigned profession. As a Astronomer that is inspired by an Stag Beetle, I took the general shape of a Stag Bettle into consideration. The final piece is done in pencil and painted in digitally.
