Worst Party Ever Band Branding

Worst Party Ever is an indie band from Sarasota, FL, who didn't yet have a logo of their own. The logo I created for them represents the sound of their music pretty well, but also gives an interesting visual. I took the name and turned it into a sort of deformed looking plastic cup (one you might find at a party). This band's songs are kind of melancholic and moody, so the album cover design has an imaginative sense to it. The song I focused in on is called "1:30", and the ripped paper and distressed nature of the overall cover is a lot like their sound. Not only is the cover meant to be imaginative, but also euphoric. In a way, it's like memories being displayed, because in their music they look back to the past a lot. As for the t-shirt design, I kept it completely simple with their logo front and center. This works well for a future tour shirt where their logo appears in the front and a detailed list of their stops would be on the back. Overall, the tone of branding for this band accentuates their melancholy sound.
