For this project I knew I wanted to do something based around the Spiderman character. Spiderman is a popular character, especially lately with the movies that have come out and the video game. I wanted to showcase not just your typical Spidermen, but all different sorts of Spidermen. 

After I came up with my concepts I started to develop them more. For the first draft I had the different Spidermen in circles.  I followed this theme for a while trying to do something with their bodies as well. 

I eventually got away from the circle theme and this created a new challenge. As I was creating the Spiderman from the Spiderman Homecoming movie I thought about how over the years there has been so many different styles and adaptations of Spiderman especially with the Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse movie recently coming out. I really wanted this concept to come alive and not be a boring circle

I was able to find theme that I liked that would show the different Spidermen and  their unique spider icons. For this I had to do a lot of research and I learned a lot about the Spiderman comic book series and the art in them. It was fun but also a challenge to find all these different spidermen.
