In Chinese and other East Asian societies, a red packet, ang bao or hong bao is a monetary gift which is given during Lunar New Year or special occasions such as weddings, graduation or the birth of a baby. In some cases, they spot other colours such as gold.
In a reductive approach to representing the pig using simple lines and shapes comes a surprisingly cute packet. It also comes with lines for writing well wishes and blessings on the back.
