Napkin Sketch to Realization
Medium: 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, ZBrush
The original idea of this Architectural design comes from a napkin sketch, where the main design process happened as I was quickly able to create multiple iterations of a design until I came to this one. The main idea is a building that will make the person feel small in comparison causing them to be in awe.
Floating Architecture
Medium: 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, Zbrush
This is a realistic CGI render of my final architecture projects last semester, the main idea is floating Architecture. The illusion of floating is accomplished by having the gap between the two living areas be glass where they can see the other side.
Floating Architecture Alternate Landscape
Medium: 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, ZBrush
This is the same building design as above but I wanted to see how the building would fit in a more secluded landscape where the emphasis was shifted to what could the residents see outside from the windows.
Parametric Design
Medium: 3D Studio Max, Rhino, Grasshopper, Photoshop
This is a building that I designed to see what I could make with parametric or just using math to create forms.
Parametric Skyscrapers
Medium: 3D Studio Max, Rhino, Grasshopper, Photoshop
Taking the parametric design above I wanted to see how it could be integrated with other skyscrapers. This piece is very representative of why I started a path in Architecture, the tall buildings create a sense of awestruck.
Bathroom Redesign
Medium: Blender, Photoshop
The client wanted a full bathroom that felt like a high end hotel bathroom, the main issues was that the area was very small so in order to make the place feel larger I used materials that will reflect.
Mokey Mokey Fanart
Medium: 3D Studio Max, ZBrush, Photoshop
This was a project to learn the very basics of ZBrush as the creature's design was very basic but still required digital sculpting in order to achieve the feeling of being a living organism.
Patamon Fanart
Medium: Maya, ZBrush, Photoshop
I wanted to re-imagine a cartoon character from my childhood into a more realistic version where I could imagine it being real. I originally started this project to learn how to use ZBrush and create more organic designs, rather it be creatures or Architecture.
CGI Bao Zi 包子
Medium: Maya, ZBrush, Photoshop, Lightroom
This is a Chinese dish recreated in ZBrush, the main idea of this project was to test my abilities as a 3D modeler/CG Artist and see if I could make something look and feel so real that it makes people question if its real or fake but while they think about it, they would want to eat it.
Mother's Day Present
Medium: 3D Studio Max, ZBrush, Photoshop
This was created as a gift to my mother in Mother's Day, I wanted each element to connect with my mother. The diamond is what she wishes for, the roses is her favorite flower, and the tulips are something she missed from her home in the Netherlands.
