A thousand little cuts” describes the compounded psychological wounds people in marginalized groups experience due to microaggressive acts. The sharp reflective shards represent those acts as reflections of society as a whole.

This clock was the first part of my senior thesis with my social issue topic being microaggression. I made this clock out of acrylic and spray-paint. Each piece was cut with a laser-cutter and then reassembled on to the base.
