"Dream Alliance" Campaign for Do It Right

It was a day of 2013 when I first heard about the refugee crisis that was taking place in Syria. My heart was instantly shattered when I knew about the thousands of children going through one of the most violent scenarios of recent history. Back then I was 17 years old and I was leading the group I founded of over 15 volunteers promoting human rights and exposing the Central American crisis on the streets, at the University and in Social Media. We decided to open a public space for discussion regarding the war in Syria and the Central American crisis.
“Dream Alliance” lead generation campaign was our response. Resulting in the participation of over 1000 people from more than 30 different countries impacting hundreds of people more.
Through an on-campus event we ignited the campaign quickly spreading by means of social media and networking. This resulted in 5 replications of the event locally, nationally and abroad.
We collected dreams for a period of 3 months, sustaining that it was of everyone’s interest to maintain peace, as everyone’s dreams require a peaceful environment to happen.
