"The Hill" cafe is both a cafe, and a pseudo-natural landscape open to the public. Utilizing the sites inherent shape, visitors are encouraged through hierarchical progression to visit the roof of the cafe at all times of the day to experience the setting around the building. With a translucent overpass as well as an ADA-compliant walkway all visitors are welcome, thus corroborating the public space as an altogether inclusive space. The cafe itself boasts large splashes of color, yet brown and bold flooring, inspired by the color of coffee beans, milk , and sugar. Natural elements are also introduced, as explained in the inspiration board.
A café (or coffeehouse, or snackbar) is a gathering space.  Humans are a naturally social species and enjoy connecting with others. This project is a design for both the café and an adjacent public park. It will be open to the public, but because it is across the street from the Center for Business and Industry Building, design with the anticipation that it will serve as a social hub for CCP students and staff.
