My work would be positively influenced by attending a course at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts. I would love to address how my interest in traditional portraiture can be affected through Arrowmont’s workshops. The three workshops I have expressed interest in all explore sculptural applications of my figurative work. I think these workshops would add new dimensions to the processes I am pursuing within my current body of work.

Also, having just begun to experience the positive effects of working in MICA’s Studio Center and being constantly surrounded by active, creative people I am confident that I will continue to grow and learn in Arrowmont’s intensive art community. Please consider me for this scholarship opportunity.
