Branding for H. Lovell Smith and HOLP, Dr. Smith's consulting company.
Dr. Smith's job is to "put the pieces together," which inspired me as I created the logo. "L"s, suggesting "Lovell" (his middle name, which is how those close to him refer to him) fit together to form an "H," both the initial of his first name and of his company's name. I, then, wove the "H"s together to form a signature pattern for Dr. Smith, which I incorporated into his brand collateral and professional accessories, such as a tie (pictured). The strong, bold, yet elegant color palette was inspired by his personality.
