Hootie the Momma Owl & Hammie the Squirrel!
To be quite honest, I am truly an Animal Lover! No matter whether it's livestock, an actual pet i.e. a dog or cat, or just plain Wildlife. I just cannot resist myself. I either wanna pet it or I pull out my camera and I begin to take pictures of them! But here is a Mother Owl, Whom I have named Hootie, and a Squirrel ( named Hammie) that Found perched on a branch outside my front door one evening. Both are residents of the trees that cover my 100 acres. The momma owl lives in the tree next to my house and I have yet to actually find Hammie's nest. Owls are, by far, my favorite animal or them all. They are just so fascinating & at night when it is quiet enough, I can hear the momma & her mate whooi-ing to each other & it is the most wonderful sound I have heard in a long time!
