Fungilicous is a sustainable solution for our consumer society. The product is made out of mycelium which is a new fully biodegradable material. The material has excellent characteristics such as being waterproof, strong and foodproof, this makes it a material that fits perfect for disposables.
Technology
Fungilicious is constructed with the roots of fungus. You can let it grow in any shape you like. The substrate and the fungus are put together in a mold. And the material shall take the form of the mold. When the fungus is fully grown, it is baked to create a stronger structure. And for the after-use phase it can be composted.

Disposable products like plastic cups, dishes etc. are creating a lot of waste. 'Fungilicious' can be the solution to this problem. 'Fungilicous' is now one product, a dish but for the future it can be expanded to a range of products such as cups, cutlery etc.
