MACHINDUSTRY
In our modern society industry takes a big role on determining our life
today and how it looks like. since the beginning of the industrial revolution
in the 18th century industry was heavily dependent on machines and raw
materials such as metals and iron, and its impact is observable on every corner
and every street. I started to take many pictures in different streets in Istanbul
capturing this impact (machines, cars parts, tools and parts from construction sites
ships, light poles, industrial metal objects and so on) and then started making a
digital alphabet collage as language and letters are a representation of the outer
world in relation to the human thoughts and ideas and a way of communicating
with our environment
