As chair of the Art and Environment committee, I took up the project of designing and leading the team in creating large-scale quilted wall hangings. All of the foreground fabrics were hand-dyed and raw-edge appliqued to the quilt background. The team process was crucial in creating these 15 ft long and 5 ft wide pieces. Unfortunately, my camera was not the best to capture them nor how well they matched the coloring of the window in the middle.

These took two months to create and were finished in late 2008. The Columbia Newman Center purchased the materials and all time and labor were volunteered.

I also made miniature versions to keep for myself.
