Sports Authority New Business Pitch

Sports Authority
Digital ideas to support the brand campaign.
Beyond supporting the pitch process with digital ideas, the team created a 24 page working prototype of how we envisioned the new sportsauthority.com. This prototype leveraged best practices, added functionality to the site and utilized custom creative content.

Above is an example of a new product page. The idea was to include related videos to help the user make an informed purchase decision. These videos would be shot and produced by the agency, and feature Sports Authority employees giving relative tips, reviews and tutorials.
This video is a short how-to for parents looking to buy the first pair of soccer cleats for their child. I wrote, co-directed, and assisted in the editing  of this video.
This video would be featured on the golf category page within sportsauthority.com, and serve as a brief tutorial for golfers looking to improve his or her game. I wrote, co-directed and assisted in the editing of this video.
This video is a guide for parents looking to outfit their child with a beginner soccer kit. I wrote, co-directed and assisted in the editing of this video.
This banner lets users record a custom thank you message, and send it to their moms using their web cams. All from right within the banner.
This Facebook application allows two opposing products to face off in an online popularity contest, determined by whichever one sells more. These products would be chosen based on whatever is happening in that day’s sporting news. E.g., if a star player goes to another team, we would have his old jersey and his new one compete.

This application will house the contest, give real-time results, allow users a chance to comment, and reward users with discounts for purchasing the winning piece of gear.
Sports Authority is all about promoting friendly competition. This application lets Facebook friends easily create brackets for any kind of competition they're into — whether it's March Madness, a Friday night poker game or a rousing match of Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Using branded Sticky Bits technology, customers could use their smart phones to scan tagged UPC codes and access product information, reviews, and images to help them make intelligent purchases.
