Growing Population
With the ever growing population space for a quality living is dwindling.
Studio apartments are preferred for the space that they offer, and modular concepts are now being embraced.
Poor Utilisation of Space
Growth in the population increases the demand for space. People often employ sub-par utilisation of their resources, these practices compound further and
Storage Inefficacy
Inability to store, lack of storage is a big mark on aesthetics and is difficult to use.
Matrix
Matrix is similar to a jigsaw or a puzzles, it requires assembly of different shapes that are interlocked together to create an image or a product.
Inspired by this concept I have tried to incorporate these techniques in my designs.

Mosaic Inlay
A great range of materials have been used both for the base and for the inlays inserted. Inlay is commonly used in the production of decorative furniture where coloured wood pieces, precious metals, or even diamonds are used.
Here instead of materials like precious metals, I have experimented with leather and used it in inlay patterns.

Using the above concepts as my inspiration, Technique Matrix has been applied for the structure of the product which encompasses the solution of the problems for storage and aesthetic.Technique Mosaic Inlay has been applied for the swatches which gives the product uniqueness. Usually the mosaic inlays are done with wood, metals but for this product leather has been used to tweak the technique.
Pretroid
The product consist of Four different chambers which can be stuck together, or can be used separately. Each chamber designed to be easily accommodable and fit in any corner of the apartment with surplus storage and can be manipulated according to the preferences. It can also be used as a Table Top or a Floor storage.
The product is a wall piece used for display and storage. The product consist of two "L" shaped wooden panel which can be manipulated into different shapes that can increase the storage. One can be experimental with it for home styling and decor.
