The overall design of the website is meant to advertise the space as a blank slate that is ready to be filled with a variety of projects. Since H-Space is an offshoot of Hamiltonian Gallery, one common misconception amongst the community that we needed to overcome was the idea that this was only a gallery space.
Double-sided, screen printed promotional card. Hung at local coffee shops and community spaces to reach out to people outside the art community.
client: H-Space, Washington D.C.

“H-Space is a multidisciplinary start-up space for arts organizations and creative entrepreneurs that provides a flexible platform to experiment and engage the community with new ideas that might be outside the scope of existing exhibition or performing spaces in Washington, D.C. H-Space aims to foster opportunities for new businesses, creative entrepreneurs, arts organizations, and rising DC movers-and-shakers to design, implement and manage a temporary brick and mortar presence as they continue to develop and fine-tune their business models and ideas.” The logo and font chouces had been established prior to my arrival and compliment the rest of the Hamiltonian brand which includes Hamiltonian Artists fellowship and the Hamiltonian Gallery. The grid as a design element is meant to help emphasize that the space is there for you to plan, build and create your own project and use for the space.
