About the painting
I was inspired by a winter scene of my favourite place in Budapest. I still remember it was so cold, that I couldn't complete the painting then. When I continued working on the painting in my studio I held the original scene in my mind at the same time I approached it with a lot of playfulness. The painting eventually got a dreamy atmosphere which sends me back to that place where this painting was conceived.
