CALENDAR DESIGN FOR 2019
This project was a college project done in a team. The focus was to capture the movement and the rhythm of the lively and upbeat performing arts of Kerala. Repetition of one prominent characteristic of each performing art is illustrated to exaggerate the emotions.
GRAPHIC STYLE
The challenge was to incorporate the modern aesthetic of vector art along with the sublime taste of tradition.The reception of the audience was kept in mind so as to fit it in any landscape without offending the sentiments of authentic color pallet of Kerala at the same time delivering a refreshed approach at marketing the craft .
The predicted success of being able to fit the calendar in the interiors of a North Indian or as a matter of fact an out stationed (outside India) craft lover's house ,could have only been achieved by a little graphical intervention of our own .
