Promotional materials for “Cairn Sounds,” an exhibition of artwork by DC-based artist Rachel Schmidt in collaboration with musician Om.era.kev at Hamiltonian Gallery. The exhibition was a multimedia sound and projection-based installation that utilized footage shot in the remote Isle of Skye in Scotland as its source material. The work explores how “human interference in nature extends to locales as distant as the Isle of Skye.” The images used in the promotional material are clips from the artwork by Rachel Schmidt. The fonts used are consistent with the rest of the Hamiltonian brand. The overall design aims to place the text in the role of the human presence seemingly effecting the natural elements in the video. The top 3 videos are for Facebook cover pages, Facebook events and an emailed press release through Constant Contact.
