Day 1: Efficient Navigation
The Challenge:
User research shows that when visitors come to the site, they prefer to filter by pet rather than product. How would this impact the information architecture of the site, particularly the page navigation at the top?
Prototype:
Day 2: Marketing Real Estate
The Challenge:
The marketing team has three campaigns scheduled to run at the same time: Black Friday, a strategic brand partnership, and an ad to promote their new mobile app. They would like all three to launch and be promoted at the same time. How will you accomplish this?
Improvements:
1. Color Palette
Based on the feedbacks from Slack and my own thoughts, the theme color from Day 1 seemed a little bit too feminine so I intended to change it into a more neutral color. I tried orangey colors but something still seems a bit off. Finally, I changed the theme color from pink to dark red/brown.  It gives a "high-end" vibe and also a warm tone which matches with the banner pictures I chose.
2. Alignment Issue
Fixed most of the alignment issues in my previous design from Day 1. Still learning to use the "grid" function in Adobe XD. Will try and fix all the alignment problems in my final submission.

3. Tags
Added some tags in the dropdown menu to make it look nicer.

4. Arrows and Dots
Kept the arrows and dots at the bottom of the banners stay in the same place while still maintained auto animations for the banners.

Day 3: Top Products
The Challenge:
You’re given a google sheet that includes a complete list of products and tasked with organizing the information in a way that aligns with marketing initiatives. Which products will you feature on the landing page?
Improvements:
1. Color Palette
After reviewing my previous palette, I wanted the website to have a lighter theme. Therefore, I changed the color palette to the one below.
2. Background
When completing the "top product card" section I set a background (with 29% transparency) for the card section.
Day 4: User Support
The Challenge:
While site organization helps decrease a user’s need for help, there may be more finite questions such as “how do I find all grain free products?” What can be implemented or added to the landing page experience to help users connect with customer support?
Prototype:
Day 5: Simplified Purchase Flow
The Challenge:
25% of users are adding items to their cart, but not completing the purchase process. Through user surveys, they’ve expressed that the cart is hard to edit and there are too many steps in the purchase process. How will you simplify the purchase flow?
