"The Pasta Project" pt. 1 - PAPPARDELLE
created by Roberta Dall'Alba photographer
Pappardelle scream "Sunday with nonna".
On Sunday, the typical Italian nonna (= grandma) will prepare a large batch of fresh handmade pasta for her nephews and nieces. She will ask them if they're eating enough (especially if they live alone) and no matter what the answer will be, she will fill the plate. Because 'enough' is never enough.

Ragù? Pesto? Mushrooms? Everything is good with pappardelle!

"The Pasta Project" pt. 2 - CANNELLONI
Cannelloni.
Do you really know someone that doesn't want to take a (ginormous) forkful of this Italian deliciousness? I bet you don't.

"The Pasta Project" pt. 3 - BUCATINI
Bucatini.
Bucatini all'amatriciana? Or pasta alla carbonara? Let's mix it up and make some bucatini alla carbonara!
The typical Italian foodie will always point out the mistakes you've made.
"Whole egg? Nooo just the egg yolk!" "Heavy cream? Seriously?"
I love traditional recipes, but I also love spicing them up.
Here's my bucatini!
