What's Your Color? Orange Box Advert

Working through my Photoshop II class, yet another assignment of interest had been given: Make an advertisement for a product. You get to pick what the product is, but make sure its something that's attention grabbing, and is likely to have the reader investigate more into it.

The gamer in me immediately thought to a game collection that had gone on sale the morning of this assignment. "The Orange Box".

Having done research into this particular collection myself, I couldn't resist the chance to apply what was holding my interest towards this new project.
A small touch of context: The Vale Orange Box is just a spiffy way of the company selling a trilogy of games that they've produced. The games included Half-Life, Team Fortress 2, and Portal. All of which are games with unique protagonists, and equally stylistic antagonists.

It seemed obvious to go with a reflective comparison of heroes versus villains.
Throughout creating the design, I ended up with three styles that I was very fond of, to the point I had trouble deciding on which to submit.

Thanks to a collection of surveys and popular opinion, a victor was eventually chosen.
