Artist's Statement: While I was interning as a Content Creation Intern at Lenskart.com, the firm was completing 10 years of existence and they were having a Lenskart Hall of Frames event to commemorate the occasion to celebrate their achievements and progress as a company. Lenskart had, for the first time, set up a completely automated glasses manufacturing facility in India. And they wanted to make a video to showcase this warehouse in all its glory. I chose the song Ants by eDiT as it fit in with the automation schematic and I was able to put together Viscera as a prototype video for them. Lenskart's Value Proposition as a firm was providing Transparency on the Optical Industry to the end consumer. This video also aimed to show the masses how their warehouses work. Hence, the name Viscera, which means "deep inward feelings" was used as it showed their manufacturing process out in the open.

Process: This video was done as a prototype for the aforementioned purpose. The shoot was done while being given a tour of the entire warehouse within in a day and the edit was put together over the course of one night. The automated machinery almost moved in symphony, and hence the initial slow parts of the video reflect the artistic nature of the manufacturing process as well.
