This soft-cover book was created using the coptic stitch.  

The coptic stitch is used for this hard-cover book where the spine is exposed.  The cover is made of binder's board or davey board.  

 

A leather-bound book using the sewing-on-cord technique for the spine.  A matching clam shell box was

also made.  

This book and clam shell box was created by using recycled materials.
