80th Anniversary Manulife Pensions
Manulife has taken root in Hong Kong since the era of entrepôt. Through the pop-up history book, it perfectly presents how Manulife Pension has accompanied the growth of Hong Kong for the past 80 years.

Entering the era of prefab rooms and black and white TVs in the 1950s, Manulife provided provident fund services for Hong Kong people.
In the 1960s, Hong Kong's industry and commerce flourished. Banks and shops sprang up everywhere, like bamboo shoots after a rain.
In the 1970s, the toy industry blossomed in Hong Kong. Through games, the concept of pensions become more popular.
( Other manufacturing industries include: garment industry, watch industry, leather shoe industry, plastic industry, electronics industry )
In the 1990s, Hong Kong slowly entered the international financial center from the kingdom of manufacturing factories.
Entering the era of smartphones, Manulife has also kept pace with the times and launched the MPF App to facilitate users to follow up on their pension accounts anytime, anywhere.

Manulife looks forward to more 80th anniversaries together with Hong Kong.
This project did take time to study history background and researched right visual elements for each era. Such as costume, street look, toys style… And we tried to keep every page with some corporate colour accents, enhancing visual consistency and brand appearance.
It was also a great challenge in compositing tons of visual elements with green screen talents and props in a tight timeline and we achieved it.
