I really love travelling a lot and I wanted to make a diary on my own so I can keep those memories, write informations, useful stuff and funny scenes, glue a ticket or a bill in it. and I knew I need a case for ginkgo leaves or other stuff too. I wanted to use paper that supports the creativity and the will of writing and working with it so I chose my favorite paper from Lana. and I wanted the cover to protect the sheets and to be hard enough so it's possible to write without an extra underlay, I wanted the cover to be wrapped around the paper so I decided to take leather which I bought at a shoemaker and the twisted end was already in that shape when I bought it. I chose the longstitch binding because I liked the idea of white thread on the black leather, it looks elegant and simple at the same time. the closure is a long black cotton string, it is fixed on the right end of the book, wrapped around it and the ends are closed with a simple bow.
