Northern Lands
Inspired by the Nordic interior design style in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway, this design incorporates the "Contrasts" between black and white, structured and organic. This project needed to incorporate fabric manipulation and surface embellishment within the skirt. To achieve this, I focused on using minimal patchwork which followed my theme, and applique on the sides of the skirt giving the design contrast. the silhouette complimented the sleek and simple element of Nordic Style. The project needed to include a mood-board, process book, 3D creation of a skirt, and a final photo shoot with hair and makeup.
