For this project we were first told to think of a dream we'd had and write down a detailed description. We then exchanged dream descriptions and were told to create a comic style recreation of the dream in Photoshop. The dream I received (pictured below) was about a zombie chase. I lack the technical skill to create something by editing stock photos so I decided to draw everything myself. As is likely evident by the finished product, I also lack conventional drawing skill; an issue further exacerbated by my use of a mouse. Understanding my limitations, I decided to draw something that would minimize my weaknesses and emphasize my strengths.

The most striking aspect of this dream was that the zombies were faceless. I tried to emphasize this with a close-up and a shot of an entire horde.

I struggled particularly with this preliminary task. I very rarely remember my dreams, and even when I do, only for the rest of the day at most. All I managed to come up with was a dream that I had long ago and remembered few details of. It wasn't even a particularly interesting dream, I have no idea why I remembered it.
