My objective for this project was to create a zine that addresses the tangible ways in which climate change already affects people in my community. The end product is zine that seeks to expose the ways in which climate change is relevant to Baltimore citizens and encourage people to become engaged by giving them personal stake. My narrative solution focuses in on a case study, air pollution, in order to examine a broader issue in narrower and more engaging way.
The end goal of this project was distribution. An important factor in the process was framing a narrative for an audience and printing with cheap materials. The goal of this zine is to act as an informational piece for Baltimore citizens to pick up, learn from, and hopefully be persuaded to take personal stake in.
